Senior Project Manager – EPC Transmission
Location: Dallas, Texas
Salary: Up to $210,000 Base + Fully Funded ESOP (OTE $400,000–$500,000)
We're representing one of the premier EPC contractors in the power delivery industry, seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to play a pivotal role in building out the company's Transmission division across the Texas market.
This is a rare opportunity to join a nationally recognized contractor at the forefront of its Texas expansion. You'll be instrumental in developing operations, strengthening client relationships, securing new work, and leading the successful delivery of major EPC Transmission projects throughout the region.
This is a senior leadership position for someone who can own projects from pursuit through execution, combining strong operational leadership with commercial acumen. You'll be responsible for developing client relationships, overseeing estimating efforts, managing project delivery, and ultimately running your own book of business with full P&L responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Lead EPC Transmission projects from pre-construction through final closeout.
- Support the strategic growth and expansion of the company's Transmission operations throughout Texas.
- Oversee project estimating, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, procurement, and execution.
- Develop accurate estimates and proposals for new opportunities.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with utility, cooperative, and private clients.
- Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of projects.
- Take ownership of an individual operational P&L, driving both profitability and project performance.
- Lead project teams including Project Managers, Engineers, Superintendents, and support staff.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience managing EPC Transmission construction projects.
- Strong estimating background with the ability to develop and review competitive bids.
- Proven operational leadership experience managing multiple large-scale transmission projects.
- Demonstrated experience owning project financials and managing an operational P&L.
- Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to develop and maintain executive-level relationships.
- Experience managing complex EPC contracts from pursuit through project completion.
- Strong understanding of project controls, cost forecasting, scheduling, procurement, and commercial management.
- Experience developing client relationships and supporting regional business growth is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
