Project Manager – Transmission, Distribution & Substations (T&D/S)

Locations: Texas | Mississippi | Florida | Oklahoma | South Carolina
Salary: $85,000 – $175,000 + Bonus + Company Vehicle

We're partnered with one of the nation's leading electrical utility contractors, with multiple openings for Project Managers across several offices throughout the Southeast and South Central U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Manage T&D/S construction projects from award through closeout.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Coordinate field operations, engineering, procurement, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Oversee project financials, including cost tracking, forecasting, change management, and reporting.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with utility clients and key project stakeholders.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to both clients and executive leadership.
  • Identify project risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety standards, quality requirements, and contractual obligations.

Requirements

  • Experience managing Transmission, Distribution and/or Substation (T&D/S) construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, forecasting, and contract administration.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
  • Experience working with major utility providers is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred, but equivalent industry experience will also be considered.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $85,000 – $175,000 (DOE)
