Project Manager – Gas Pipeline Construction (3 Openings)

Locations: Michigan | Washington, DC | Pennsylvania
Salary: $110,000 – $160,000 Base + Performance Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits

We're partnered with a leading utility infrastructure contractor seeking three Project Managers to support the delivery of major natural gas pipeline projects across Michigan, Washington, DC, and Pennsylvania.

With a strong backlog of work and continued investment across its gas operations, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering critical pipeline infrastructure for major utility clients.

The successful candidates will oversee projects from award through closeout, ensuring safe execution, financial performance, and exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage natural gas pipeline construction projects from pre-construction through final completion.
  • Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, procurement, and execution.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Manage project financials, including cost tracking, forecasting, change orders, and reporting.
  • Coordinate field operations, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with utility clients, inspectors, and key stakeholders.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to executive leadership and customers.
  • Identify project risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety standards, environmental regulations, and contractual requirements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience within natural gas pipeline or utility construction.
  • Experience managing transmission and/or distribution gas pipeline projects.
  • Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, forecasting, contract administration, and change management.
  • Experience working with major gas utilities or pipeline operators is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred, but equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
