Project Manager – Distribution (Entergy)

Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid Preferred)
Salary: Up to $150,000 Base + Unlimited PTO + Comprehensive Benefits

We're partnered with a rapidly growing union electrical utility contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Distribution projects across the Entergy network.

While the preference is for candidates based in Houston, TX, the role offers a hybrid working arrangement, providing flexibility alongside regular collaboration with operations and field teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage overhead and underground Distribution projects from award through closeout.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and execution.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Coordinate field operations, subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams.
  • Manage project financials, including cost tracking, forecasting, change orders, and reporting.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Entergy representatives and key stakeholders.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to both clients and executive leadership.
  • Identify project risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with Entergy standards, company safety policies, and contractual requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience managing electrical Distribution construction projects.
  • Previous experience delivering work for Entergy is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of overhead and underground distribution systems.
  • Experience managing project financials, forecasting, scheduling, and contract administration.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites and client meetings as required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred, but equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
