Project Manager – Ohio

Overview

InfraRec is working with a contractor specializing in site development, roadway construction, and paving. They are looking to add a Project Manager to their team, based in Ohio.

Responsibilities

Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning
Oversee site development, roadway construction, and paving operations on active projects
Coordinate with superintendents and field crews to keep projects on schedule and within budget
Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships, including contracts, change orders, and RFIs
Track project costs and report on budget performance to senior management
Ensure compliance with safety standards, DOT specifications, and permitting requirements
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project owners

Qualifications

Experience managing site development, roadway construction, or paving projects
Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and contract management
Familiarity with DOT or municipal roadway project requirements is a plus
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
Comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent field experience

Day-to-Day

The role is based in Ohio, with regular time split between the office and active job sites. Expect daily coordination with superintendents and field crews, ongoing communication with clients and project stakeholders, and consistent tracking of budgets, schedules, and documentation. This is a hands-on role that requires staying closely involved in the details of each active project.
